It has become increasingly clear that Children and Young people in our communities are at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE). To help protect them from harm, it’s important that people who work with children and adults are aware of the signs of CSE and know what to do if they are concerned.
Blackpool Safeguarding Children Board, together with Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen's LSCBs, has created a new Child Sexual Exploitation e-learning course - it is basic training available for staff at all levels and from any agency (statutory or third sector). The course can be accessed through Blackpool Council’s E-Learning Portal, iPool or Lancashire Children and Young People’s Trust.
To complete the course, please either go to Lancashire's portal and register using this link http://cypvle.lancsngfl.ac.uk/login/signup.php
Or Email firstname.lastname@example.org with a request to be set up on iPool.
Please also find below a number of posters that you may wish to display in your workplace.
A checklist and useful telephone numbers are included for your information and use.
